Booked Out with Bre
Welcome to Booked Out with Bre: the podcast for virtual assistants ready to level up and founders building with team who refuse to choose between audacious ambition and a life they actually love.
I'm your host, Bre Cain, mama of three, unapologetic entrepreneur, and founder of a business built from my kitchen table and 4-year-old's bedroom with big energy and zero apologies.
I'm the founder of ICON & Lightning, a remote team agency that hand matches elite virtual assistants to founder-led businesses ... because the right team isn't an operational decision, it's a leadership identity. I'm also the founder of the VA Leadership Academy, where I've trained nearly 500 virtual assistants in the technical skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership identity it takes to become a truly strategic partner; not just a task doer.
Six years ago, I thought I had to choose. Mom or career. Present or ambitious. I went back to my 9-to-5 after my first baby and lasted three months before I realized my entire definition of success had shifted. So I bet on myself and built a business that now approaches $2M in just three years, scaled in part-time hours, alongside my kids, from home.
Here's what I know for sure: you don't have to choose.
You can have the booming business. The clients you're obsessed with. The school pickups, the slow mornings, the spontaneous yes moments. You can build a team that amplifies your vision instead of adding to your mental load. You can scale without sacrificing the life you built the business to protect.
This podcast is for the virtual assistant who's ready to stop trading hours for dollars and start leading like the strategic asset she already is. It's for the founder who's done doing it all alone and is ready to build a team that actually runs. And it's for every ambitious mama who was told to shrink ... and decided not to.
Expect candid conversations, zero corporate fluff, and the kind of real talk that makes you feel seen and activated.

In this episode of Booked Out with Bre, I had the pleasure of chatting with the incredible Sam Altieri, a business and wealth activator who's all about the power of self-trust and really going for what you want in both your personal life and business ventures. Sam opened up about her own path, which took her from the world of fitness to now inspiring entrepreneurs like you and me.
We got into some pretty deep stuff, like how society often tries to hold women back from chasing wealth and success. But we're here to say, forget that noise! It's all about being unapologetically you and chasing those dreams down. Plus, we dove into the law of assumption, took a look at how social media can actually help us reflect on ourselves, and talked about why knowing who you are is super important, especially in our relationships.
I'm sending out a huge call to all of you listening to trust that gut feeling, wrap your arms around your wildest desires, and always put your happiness first. Can't wait for you to join us and soak up all the good vibes from this episode!

On this episode of Booked Out with Bre Podcast, I sit down with my business partner, Justin, to chat about our exciting venture, Coach’s Profit Powerhouse. We've been working hard to bridge the gap between high-earning coaches/entrepreneurs and top-notch virtual assistants. During our conversation, we really get into the nitty-gritty of why it's crucial to have a solid team behind you. We also share some insights into our strategic sessions that are all about scaling businesses effectively and the plans we have in place to streamline workflows through automation.
Justin and I also discuss what business owners are looking for in their team members. It's not just about skills; it's about the right fit. Plus, we can't stress enough how important it is to pre-qualify clients to ensure a smooth partnership. Wrapping up our chat, we delve into the psychological hurdles of delegation. It's something many entrepreneurs struggle with, but it's so important for growth.
We're both really passionate about supporting coaches and virtual assistants on their professional journeys, and you can take away some valuable tips from our discussion. So whether you are an entrepreneur looking to hire for your team or a virtual assistant looking for clients to book out your business, Mom to VA and Coach’s Profit Powerhouse are two ways to help you scale your business beyond 6-figures and make the most of your valuable time.

In this episode of Booked Out with Bre, I'll be sharing some valuable tips on how to book virtual assistant clients. It's not the typical industry information! I am all about creating a strong and authentic brand that showcases your potential, rather than just focusing on past experience.
One of the first things I recommend is leveraging your professional background and unique qualities to stand out from the competition. Highlight what makes you different and how you can bring value to your clients. Understanding your potential clients' goals and identifying the gaps they need help with is also crucial. During discovery calls, take the time to really listen and understand their needs. This will allow you to tailor your services and pitch to their specific requirements.
I'm excited to share some success stories from my students who have used strategic branding to book out their businesses. It's amazing to see how they've been able to attract their ideal clients and grow their virtual assistant businesses.
If you're looking for support and guidance in booking virtual assistant clients, I would love for you to reach out to me through my program, Mom to VA. I'm here to help you succeed and achieve your goals.
